6. Test run. When the diesel engine is started, the inlet of the supercharger must show the oil pressure within 3 ~ 4s to prevent damage of the bearing system of the supercharger due to lack of lubricating oil. Run for 2min, check whether the rotor rotation is stable and noiseless, then stop, observe whether the rotor can operate smoothly by inertia, and stop after about half a minute under normal conditions.
8. When the engine is running under load, the oil pressure must be between 196 and 392kPa to be safe. When running at idle, the oil pressure should be no less than 70kPa.
9. The exhaust back pressure behind the turbine and the pressure drop of the air filter shall not exceed 4.9kPa. The air filter element shall avoid moisture, as the moisture filter element will significantly increase the pressure drop.
